Easy Knitted Baby Dress with Hair Braid Model Free Pattern
this is for 1 years old babies .. Cast on 20 sts
3 garter stitch , 1 purl , 12 knit , 1 purl , 3 garter stitch . we will do hair braid model made on 12 knit stitchs. How we do the hair braid : https://youtu.be/DnIXLJpwdTw
we must do 13 hair braid model total. And the important note: we will purl all the back side. ( 2. Round- 4. Round- 6. Round …. All of kint with purl stitch. )
When we done the knitting. We must have stitch on the near side.. you will see on the video how to pick up new stitchs cast on. You can see in the Picture where you will pick up the stitches cast on. We will pick up 67 stitches. 10 stitches on the right, 10 stitches on the left, leaving a loop and pick up the stitches and cast on cast on .
Now , we have new stitches and we will start to knit on the back side. (wrong side)
- Wrong side : -back side- 3 garter stitch, 1 knit, 12 purl, 1 knit, 3 garter stitch, 27 purl, 3 garter stitch, 1 knit, 12 purl, 1 knit, 3 garter stitch, 1 purl, 12 knit, 1 purl, 3 garter stitch
- Right side : front side – 3 garter stitch, 1 purl, 12 knit, 1 purl, 13 knit, 3 garter stitch, 1 purl, 12 knit, 1 purl ,3 garter stitch,
- (On the other side you knit : garter stitch = garter stitch purl = knit knit = purl )
İn the front side we do the hair braid model on 12 knit stitches. ( two pieces)both of 12 knit stitches We will make over 12 flat stitches hair braid model.
İncrements stitches is done every 4 ranks. There will be 10 increments in total. The total number of hair braid models will be 5. Increase from right and left will always be done from the middle loop. ( We will have fixed straight loops in the middle, we will increase right and left. )
Now we came to the last part of the dress. The expression of the pile construction on the tip of the dress.
Right side : *10 knit, 1 increase stitch , 10 knit, 1 increase stitch, * following end of the round
Wrong side : the increament stitches will be knit (flat) , the other stitches will be purl
We are on the right side now : * 10 knit, 1 purl * to the end of round. On the wrong side what you see make it. ( purl= purl , knit = knit )
We will make the raising stitches from the left and right of the purl knitting loops. And also on the back-wrond side what we see knit it.
We will maket his 7 times. On the right side we do purl the increase stitches.
