Little girl Beret free pattern
We will make it by HDC.
ch : chain
hdc : half double crochet
Starting 4 ch. Make a circular. and do it 10 hdc in this circular.
Row 2 : 2ch , “for each stitch make 2 hdc “same to the end of the row.
Row 3: “make 1 hdc to the one stitch , next stitch make 2 hdc the same stitch.” repeat this to end of the row.
Row 4 : same like 3.row
Row 5 : “make 1hdc to the 1 stitch four times , then next stitch make 2 hdc the same stitch.” repeat this to end of the row.
row 6 and 7 : 1 hdc for each stitch .
Row 8 & 9 : “make 1 hdc to the one stitch four times, then next stitch make 2 hdc to the same stitch.” repeat this to end of the row.
row 10 to 24 : 1 hdc for each stitch. make it all row. ( 1 hdc, next stitch 1 hdc, next stitcth 1 hdc… )
It would be 24 rows. It is finished. Now we have to the hat’s hair. How can we do hair for beret?
chain 20 or 25 you know..
1.stitch : make 2 dc the same stitch.
2.stitch : make 3 dc the same stitch.
3.stitch : make 2 dc the same stitch.
4.stitch : make 3 dc the same stitch.
…… all of the 20 or 25 stitches make it. And You will see that the fragment of the mesh is curled by itself.
After we’ve done their hair, we knot the short yarns left on their ends together, knotting them together, and we get this knot in.We take out the 2 hooks from the side loop and connect them again. and ready..
Then we sew the other hair in front of 24 frequent needle stitches. For decoration: We make our eyes with 2 buttons. We do it by sewing it with a dark brown rope.
